![]() That ends this episode of collectors edition. “Each ‘Duke Nukem Forever Balls of Steel Limited Edition’ is hand crafted by master artist De Ass Kicker with the highest quality professional instruments” The certificate of authenticity telling me I have edition number 27087 out of… how many i dont know. The First chapter was good and told you how many triangles the current Duke had compared to te original had, while friends of duke was pretty much concept art of the girls in the game, the arsenal files would probably be useful for anyone trying to build replicas of the guns. The art book is pretty nice, its split into 5 chapters, Duke, Dukes Arsenal, Aliens, Friends of Duke and Environments. The comic included is pretty funny and explains why Duke has been missing for 15 years, he’s been fighting aliens at the white house, and synthetically mutated attack robot terrorist sharks in hawaii… The paper craft (would have been nice to have) looks pretty cool and would have been nice to build, its a pretty easy construct and the duke stands about the height of a coke can with the nuke symbol being a little smaller. The postcards are cool, it comes with 5 of them and their pretty much Duke being Duke and all manly like, Duke on mount everest, Duke in space, Duke winning awards, Duke winning loads of cash and Duke catching sharks… The Sticker of the Duke Nukem Nuke symbol is well, its a sticker, all games need to give free stickers… The poker chips are actually pretty nice you get 2 chips with the nuke symbol one pastel purple and one pastel green, their nicely weighted and not the cheap plastic kind you get with normal poker sets, The cards are your standard miniature playing cards with a customized backing that’s black and white with two nuke symbols, I’m a little disappointed as I was hoping for sexy playing cards or at least different pictures for the king, queen, jack but no, just standard cards. The dice are made of clear red plastic and have the nuke symbol where the one is meant to be, they are a little larger than regular dice but are a little to light for my like. The bust is actually pretty light I was expecting something akin to those cheap pewter dragons you find at the $2 shops, the statue is also quite detailed I would be interested to know if it was a hand made cast or a 3D printing cast. The collectors box is the same size regardless of version what with the ps3 being special with its smaller dvd cases and all that, it also has a window cut out so you can see the bust statue. This time round it’s the Duke Nukem Forever – Balls of Steel edition found at a flip side second hand store for $35, sadly it’s missing the duke paper craft but as it’s the only thing missing I wont complain and I can always find another copy.
